We’re currently identifying landowners that would like to participate in the private launch this summer in the Pacific Northwest. The private launch is an opportunity to provide important feedback to help us understand and construct the best possible experience for guests and landowners.
For landowners, Shelter Escapes takes care of marketing, rate optimization, reservations, guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and just about anything else you can think of.
Our innovative shelters provide an accessible and uncompromising nature experience.
We partner with private landowners that offer the best that nature can provide; breathtaking views, nearby hiking trails, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and pair that with a tiny cabin experience, unlike anything you've seen before. Our shelters are thoughtfully designed and hand-crafted by renowned tiny house builder, Derin Williams. At over 200 square feet, shelters are large enough to sleep four and provide all the comforts of home that are welcome on an outdoor retreat.
We encourage everyone to step out of their routine and take a rejuvenating breath of fresh air.
We both grew up adventuring in the Pacific Northwest, crawfish hunting the Nehalem River, hiking through old-growth Douglas fir forests, and watching the night sky for shooting stars. As we've grown older, we've come to appreciate what that outdoor escape brought into our lives. Now, as we've started families of our own, we want to open up the opportunity for these transformative experiences to create memories of your own.
Derin Williams
Lead Designer and Builder | Derin is a creator and the dreamer behind this innovative tiny cabin. He started his tiny house design and build company, Shelter Wise, back in 2012 and has since built 30 custom tiny houses.

Founder | Tyler has a knack for minimalism and a true passion for the outdoors having grown up in the Pacific Northwest.
